Why do we use Famly?
One of the things we get asked quite a lot is how parents stay updated throughout the day… and the simple answer is Famly.
Famly is the system we use across both of our nurseries to keep everything organised, but more importantly, to keep you connected to your child’s day in a really simple and reassuring way.
We know how important it is to be able to quickly check in or ask a question, especially when your child first starts.
With Famly, you can message us directly, whether that’s your child’s key worker or the management team. No waiting around, no going back and forth over emails… it’s just there when you need it.
We also use it to send reminders, updates and general nursery info, so everything is all in one place rather than spread across different platforms.
Seeing Your Child’s Day
This is definitely one of parents’ favourite parts. We upload photos and observations throughout the week so you can actually see what your child has been up to, whether that’s exploring in the garden, getting stuck into a messy activity, or just having a lovely moment with their friends. It’s not just pictures either, we link observations to their development so you can follow their progress as they grow.
Daily Updates
We also use Famly to log all the day-to-day care information, so you’re never left wondering how their day has gone.
You’ll be able to see things like:
What they’ve eaten
Sleep times
Nappy changes
General updates on how they’ve been
It’s especially helpful for our younger children, as you still feel really involved in their routine even when you’re not with them.
Invoices Made Simple
We know invoices aren’t the most exciting part… but Famly does make it a lot easier. All invoices are uploaded there, so you can clearly see what’s been charged, check your balance and make payments without needing to chase anything up. It keeps everything transparent and straightforward, which is really important to us.
Working Together with Parents
One of the best things about Famly is that it’s not just us uploading information, you can use it too.
Parents often send us updates from home, share milestones, or just let us know how their child has been over the weekend. It really helps us build a bigger picture and support each child in the best way possible.
