Consumables: A charge of £10 per funded day applies at both settings, covering meals, nappies, wipes, sun cream, and outings. This is charged on funded sessions only.

Funding you may be entitled to

We accept all government childcare funding at both Wellingborough and Irchester. Funded hours are deducted before any private top-up is calculated.

Universal 15 Hours Funding

All 3 and 4 year olds in England are entitled to 15 funded childcare hours per week for 38 weeks per year — no income requirement. Available from the term after your child's 3rd birthday.

  • No income test — all 3 and 4 year olds qualify

  • Available at both Wellingborough and Irchester

  • Can be stretched across 51 weeks for all-year places

30 Hours Childcare Entitlement

Working families may be entitled to up to 30 funded hours per week for 3 and 4 year olds. We accept the 30 hours entitlement at both settings. Reconfirm your eligibility code every 3 months.

  • Both parents must be working at minimum wage equivalent

  • Neither parent earning over £100,000 adjusted net income

  • Stretched across 51 weeks for all-year places

Tax-Free Childcare & Tax Credits

Child Tax Credits & Tax-Free Childcare

We accept Tax-Free Childcare payments and Child Tax Credits. Tax-Free Childcare gives eligible families up to £2,000/year — for every £8 you pay in, the government adds £2.

  • Tax-Free Childcare: children up to age 11 (17 with disability)

  • Cannot use Tax-Free Childcare and Tax Credits simultaneously

Eligible 2 year olds

Deprivation & Early Years Funding

Some 2 year olds from lower-income households or particular circumstances are entitled to 15 funded hours/week. We warmly welcome families accessing deprivation funding at both settings.

  • Universal Credit households below £15,400 adjusted net income

  • Children in care, with EHC plans, or receiving DLA

Both settings offer the same discount percentages — but the full-time discount rule differs slightly.

Wellingborough: Only applies when attending 5 Full Days per week (not mixed sessions).

Irchester: Only applies when attending 5 Full Days per week (not mixed sessions).

Sibling Discount

Both settings: 10% off for families with more than one child enrolled with Pop-Up Nurseries. Applied after the full-time discount where both apply.
